The General Manager of Plateau United, Pius Henwan has declared his continuous support for the Sports Writers Association (SWAN) Plateau State Chapter.
Pius Henwan made this declaration when EXCO members of SWAN Plateau State Chapter paid a visit to his office to deliver a letter of appreciation to the GM for what he has being doing for the Chapter as he has kept his promise to the Association of carrying a member of the Association to every away match for the 2021/2022 NPFL Season.

Receiving the letter on behalf of Pius Henwan, the Secretary of Plateau United Albert Belfuan Stephen, assured SWAN Plateau State Chapter that the support will continue, as working with SWAN was one of the strategies put in place by the management of Plateau United to ensure the success of the team this season and beyond.
According to Albert, “We are happy you have found it worthy to come back to appreciate the Management of Plateau United. We are not surprised that this commendation is coming from SWAN Plateau State Chapter, as the Management of Plateau United ably led by the GM, Pius Henwan has put a lot in place to ensure the team succeeds this season. We have put a lot of strategies in place this season to get back to winning ways and working with SWAN Plateau State Chapter is one of them and we assure you that the support will continue in the second round of the league commencing this weekend.”

On his part, Andre Bisyit, Chairman SWAN Plateau State Chapter, thanked the GM for his support and prayed for the success of the team as they execute the second stanza of the league. He went further to congratulate the GM on his recent induction into the prestigious Institute of Business Diplomacy and Financial Management, IBDFM as a Fellow.
The letter in part reads:
“We would like to express our warm appreciation to you for your support to SWAN Plateau State Chapter.
Last year you promised to carry along with you a member of SWAN Plateau State Chapter to every away game of Plateau United FC, and as a man of your words you kept your promise.
Your enthusiasm and your ability to motivate others has resulted in a commendable performance by Plateau United in this 2021/22 NPFL Season as they ended the first half of the season in second position. With this sir, you have earned the respect of all and sundry on the Plateau.
We can only wish that your team wins the league after such a commendable performance in the first half of the league.
We are grateful for the partnership you have formed with SWAN Plateau State Chapter and we hope this continues way beyond this current season.”
