The Hon. Commissioner for Finance and Economic Development, Hon. Akintunde Oyebode has picked Thursday 3rd March, 2022 for the kick off of the Prof. Akin Oyebode All Ekiti State Secondary Schools Football Competition.
Hon. Akin Oyebode conveyed the choice of date to Ekiti State Football Association on behalf of the family who are the sponsors of the competition, describing the date as perfect.
The sponsors will grace a funfair opening ceremony for the prestigious and much anticipated grassroots tournament at the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium, Ado Ekiti.
The Prof. Akin Oyebode Cup will be contested by winning schools from the Local Football Councils vying for the top prizes of being crowned as Ekiti state’s high school football champion.
There are also educational and Sports scholarships for top performing players while the coaches and schools shall also be rewarded.
