The impact of the Prof. Akin Oyebode Cup continues to flourish just ahead of the second edition as The Most Valuable Player from the maiden contest, Peter Abiodun has joined highly revered talent development academy, Triple 44 Academy under the Ekiti FA Scholarship Scheme.
The left footed skillful midfielder captained Ado U15 team to lift the giant trophy of the Professor Akin Oyebode Cup in 2021, leading his side with his enterprising display.
His exploits earned him a spot among the top 10 players that were marketed for sports and education sponsorship under the Ekiti FA Scholarship Scheme.
Peter Abiodun’s talent will now be nurtured by the Ibadan based academy, partly paid for through a fundraiser by Health City’s Award winning Odunola Olabintan, while he also pursues his tertiary education.
The Professor Akin Oyebode Cup 2022 is an avenue for more outstanding boys and girls to be discovered and showered with sports and education sponsorships.
It is scheduled to kick off on March 3rd, 2022 by the Hon. Commissioner for Finance and Economic Development, Hon Akintunde Oyebode for champions of secondary schools from the Local Football Councils in Ekiti State.
