PLATEAU: We will continue to support sports in Nigeria and Africa…Attia Nasreddin, CEO NASCO Group

The Chairman and CEO of NASCO Group, Attia Nasreddin has pledged to continue to support sports development in Plateau State, Nigeria and Africa at large.

He made this pledge when he received Red Crown Cycling Team of Jos today, as they presented the medals and trophies won in 2021 to its major sponsor, NASCO Group, today 14th of January, 2022.

“I will like to appreciate all the athletes and staff of the company for making the good people of Plateau state proud. I thank you for putting in your best and I pledge to continue to support sports development not just in Plateau State and Nigeria, but in Africa at large”, Nasreddin said.

The Chairman of Red Cycling Team James Amidu, who also doubles as the Chairman of Plateau State Cycling Association, thanked Nasco Group for its support in sports development in Plateau state and promised that the team would win more medals this year.

He further appreciated the company for adding value to the lives of the cyclists as some of them have gone on to represent the country in competitions outside the country.

The founder of Team Red Crown, Sammy Nasreddin was glad to introduce to the company other Red Crown Teams which include Red Crown Polo Team, Red Crown Tennis Team and Red Crown Rugby Team to the delight of management. He also informed the board that in no distant time Team Red Crown will dominate sports in Nigeria and Africa.

In his closing remarks, Shehu Sule Nylun the Group Manager Nasco Group, appreciated James Amidu the Chairman of Team Red Crown for doing a good job in discovering talents for the country, and further encouraged the athletes to continue to give their best when competing.

Red Crown Cycling Team won twenty five medals last year, which includes nine gold medals, nine silver medals, seven bronze medals and three trophies.
