The Nigeria Referees Association, NRA, has felicitated with the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, President, Amaju Melvin Pinnick on his well deserved victory as a Member of the FIFA Executive Council.
In a statement signed by the National Publicity Secretary, NPS, of the NRA, Kelechi Mejuobi, the President of the NRA, Otunba Tade Azeez, stated that he was not in doubt that Nigeria shall benefit from the NFF’s President’s membership of the FIFA Executive Council.
According to Otunba Tade Azeez, “Apart from Mr Pinnick using his rare football management finesse to better the lot of the round leather game at the world stage, there is no doubt Nigeria shall benefit immensely from this new dispensation”.
The NRA President said that the Association shall continue to pray for God’s guidance, wisdom and strength to enable the NFF boss undertake the functions expected of him in the new position while at the same time steering the ship of Nigerian football to greater heights.
NRA President, Otunba Tade Azeez, while congratulating Mr Pinnick stated that the elevation of the NFF President to the FIFA Executive Council position remains one of the cheerful moments of Nigerian football, considering the importance of the feat achieved.
