Match Day 10 of the Nigeria Professional Football league, saw Plateau United FC of Jos, pip Rangers International FC by a goal to nil at the latter’s adopted home ground, Ifeanyi Ubah Stadium, Nnewi.
Ibrahim Buhari’s 6th minute goal from a throw-in by Daniel Itodo was the match decider as Plateau United inflicted a second home defeat on Rangers International FC.
An excited Hamza Abara, Coach of Plateau United said, “We are happy for this, you know we have lost all our matches away from home before today”.

“I am very overwhelmed with this result, we dedicate this win to the management because they’re the back bone of this team.”
He went further to say that they had planned to get all three points from the word go as they took advantage of Rangers FC not playing in Enugu, “Honestly, this was where we planned to get our maximum point because we assume that this is a neutral ground”.

Plateau United next face in form Rivers United in Jos and Coach Hamza expects his team to win the match especially since they are playing at home.
With this away win Plateau United now sit 3rd on the log with 18 points.
