Kehinde Adetule a Referee in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) has been appointed as the Secretary of the Ekiti State Football Association Referees Committee at a Board meeting of the FA on Monday, 26th of July, 2021.

According the FA Chairman and the board, Adetule was chosen because of his performance over the years in the NPFL and as well all through his referee career. He urged him to be diligent and see the appointment as an opportunity to also take the Ekiti State Referees Council to greater heights.

Also at the Board meeting the Ekiti State FA Chairman, Bayo Olanlege used the occasion to charge the Local FA’s to join forces with his Board and develop the game at the grass root level.

“All Local Football Councils are charged to intensify efforts with development of the game at the grassroots”, Olanlege stated.
Having survived a chain of judicial controversies recently, the association thanked the state governor, Dr Kayode Fayemi, Ekiti State FA Grand Patron, O’Seun Odewale and other Patrons and Advisers for offering support through the crisis.
