The Chairman of the Board of the Bet9ja Ekiti Football League, Hon. kayode Noah has revealed that different winners of the Unity Cup competition in various Local Football Councils will be registered to take part in the 2nd edition of the state league at no cost.
He disclosed that the board has so far been impressed with the preparations of some LFCs for the Unity Cup 2021 and they have resolved to offer free slots to all the winners that will emerge from the local areas that will host the competition.
This he said will be an added attraction and incentive for teams that will participate and he opined that this move should motivate other Local Football Councils to stage the grassroot competition.
Hon. Noah also explained that this move is in line with the vision of bet9ja to carry everyone along in developmental projects.
