Jordan Nwora Foundation Elite Basketball Camps: Gov. A. A. Sule applauds organizers

As part of its social responsibility to community development through basketball, the Jordan Nwora Foundation visited the Nasarawa state government on Monday 25th July 2022 to express the mission of the campaign at the Ongoing Elite Basketball Camp in Lafia.

His Excellency, Abdullahi Sule, the Executive Governor of Nasarawa State, while speaking appreciated Jordan Nwora and the Foundation for its active role in shaping a better future for the younger generations through basketball camps.

The Camp Director, Col. Samuel Ahmedu, President FIBA Africa Zone 3, in his address, described basketball as a unifying tool and expressed delight in Staging the camp in Nasarawa which was purposely meant to scientifically expose, develop and nurture the young players.

President of the foundation, Hon. Tony Nwora, thanked Governor Abdullahi Sule, Government officials and important personalities for the warm reception given to the foundation while adding that the Non-profit organization will anticipate bringing the attention of international communities to the venue of the exercise – Lafia City Gymnasium, Lafia.

A Presentation of gifts including endorsed basketball with initials from all participants, Jersey and Mascot of Milwaukee Bucks.

Members of the Jordan Nwora Foundation and basketball stakeholders presents at the gathering are Musa Adamu (General Manager of the Men Senior National Team), Kike Rafiu, Nick Sepe, Spencer Gervase, Adamu Deshi (Zonal REP, North Central NBBF), Ayuba Tijani (Chairman Nasarawa State Basketball Association), Promise Uwaeme (JNF Head of Communications) and many others.
