Gombe Agog As Adamu Yola Ture and Jordan Nwora Foundation Partner for a 3-day Junior Basketball Clinic

The management of Adamu Yola Ture Foundation on Monday confirmed that the foundation has agreed terms with Jordan Nwora Foundation for a 3-day Basketball Clinic for the North Eastern state of the country.

Speaking with newsmen on Monday from his Abuja office on behalf of the Foundation, Pastor Yakubu Adamu Yola restated the foundation’s commitment to creating opportunities to empower young people.

“I am very delighted to say that the Foundation has agreed terms with Jordan Nwora Foundation for a Junior Basketball Clinic for the entire North East states,” he stated.

“The major benefit of the clinic is that it will give American Basketball/Education Scholarship opportunities to outstanding Ones.”

“We are very committed to ensuring that young people from this part of the country have the same opportunities youths from other part of the country enjoy.”

The clinic is which is designed for young boys and girls within the ages of 14 and 19 will be drawn from six North Eastern states.

“We have agreed to host 60 boys, 40 girls, 9 male coaches and 7 females coaches in the 3-day event.”

“I can also tell today that Adidas is the official kit company and we are hoping that more partners will agree to join us as we continue to make progress on this project.”

The clinic will be taking place in Gombe city the capital of Gombe State.

The Adamu Yola Foundation is no doubt a very big name in the region considering their huge involvement in creating opportunities for young people to excel through sports as the Adamu Yola Gombe South Unity Cup organised by the Foundation is unarguable the biggest football tournament in the whole of North East.

“We will be making more announcement in the coming days as we look forward to partnering with interested agencies of both government and private sectors,” he concluded.

The state Ministry of Youths and Sports of all the six North East states will be very glad to embrace this golden opportunity to develop basketball in the zone.
