The city of Ado-Ekiti is in an ecstatic mood as the final of the prestigious Bet9ja Ekiti Football League Super 4 final takes center stage at the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium, Ado Ekiti on Saturday, 27th August, 2022.
EKSU Galacticos FC and Champions FC are raring to lift the cup for the first time after their respective victories over Ekiti United FC Feeders and Ifaki United FC on penalties.
All eyes will be on the competition’s leading goal scorer, Champions FC’s Abdullahi Ridwan who scored the important equalizer in the semis as he aims to lead his team to win the championship, while EKSU Galacticos FC will hope to emerge as the unbeaten champions when the final kicks off by 3pm.
Gracing the occasion will be the erudite and hardworking Chief Operating Officer of the Nigeria Nation-wide League One, Mr. Sola Ogunowo, headline the special guests confirmed for the event.
Just before the final showdown, Ekiti United FC Feeders and Ifaki United FC will confront each other in the Third-Place match followed immediately by a novelty match between Ekiti Club Owners and Ekiti Bet9ja Agents.
The prize monies remain five hundred thousand naira, three hundred thousand naira and two hundred thousand naira for 1st, 2nd and 3rd placed teams respectively.
