Members of the Executive Committee of the Ekiti State Football Association on Tuesday, 9th of November, 2021 held a meeting to deliberate on some pressing issues within the association and decided on measures to move the game of football forward in Ekiti State.
The board resolved as follows:
1. That the board appreciated President Amaju Melvin Pinnick, his 1st Vice, Barr. Seyi Akinwunmi, other Board members of the Nigeria Football Federation and most especially all the State Football Association Chairmen for the great strides attained so far in the Nigeria Football Ecosystem.
2. The board also appreciated the Ekiti State Governor, His Excellency, Dr. John Kayode Fayemi, the Ekiti State FA Grand Patron O’Seun Odewale, other Patrons and Advisers for the support they have always lent to the association and particularly during the recently held inaugural edition of the Ekiti State Football Merit Awards.
3. The board approved Wednesday, 1st of December, 2021 for it’s Annual General Meeting, AGM, for the year.
4. The board resolved that the affiliation fees due to all clubs and other organizations within the Ekiti State FA shall remain the same as what was obtainable in the 2020/2021 football season.
5. The Ekiti FA Board approved the revised work-plan for the 2021/2022 football season which is as stated below:

a. Nov – Dec 2021: Unity Cup competition in Local Football Councils
b. Jan – March 2022: U-13 and U-15 football competitions in secondary schools
c. March – April 2022: AITEO CUP
d. April – June 2022: State FA Cup
e. Feb – July 2022: State football league
