The father of Ebenezer Olatuyi , the Most Valuable Player at the Late Oba Ademola Ajakaiye U13 football competition, Mr Kehinde Olatuyi has expressed gratitude to the Ekiti State Football Association for the scholarship scheme his son benefited from.
Ebenezer Olatuyi was one of the exceptional kids scouted from two under aged competitions packaged by the Ekiti State Football Association that benefitted from the scholarship scheme of the State FA.
In a video that has since gone viral, Mr. Kehinde Olatuyi who spoke in Yoruba language said he is elated that the Ekiti State Football Association deemed it fit to remember his son (Ebenezer Olatuyi) in such a plan.
He further lauded the Ekiti FA Patron and Commissioner for Finance and Economic Development, Hon. Akintunde Oyebode for fulfilling his promise in the payment of his son’s school fees and other dues.
“I have to deeply appreciate Hon. Akin Oyebode for what he has done for my son, I can’t just thank him enough, and also, I have to thank the Ekiti State FA for creating the platform because if not for the competition, Hon. Oyebode will not know my son”.
He further admonished parents to let their kids participate in sports and support them with whatever they have.
