Ekiti FA tour touches down on Emure and Ikere LFCs

In continuation of his working visit to all Local Football Councils in Ekiti State, Bayo Olanlege, Chairman Ekiti State Football Association and his Board’s train stopped at Emure and Ikere Local Football Councils yesterday, 25th October, 2022.

The chairman at both Councils emphasized that the football ecosystem in Ekiti State can only get better by, “Building a viable football ecosystem using the LFC as the fulcrum”.

He informed Stakeholder that the tour is necessary so as to allow more involvement in football at the grassroots, especially at the Primary and Secondary schools so as to unearth the abundant talents and take football to where it should grow from, which is the grassroots.

They had successful deliberations in creating a viable football ecosystem in the state, especially at the grassroots with all in attendance agreeing that for football to grow in the state, all hands must be on deck.

Stakeholders in both Local Football Councils were full of praise to the Ekiti FA Board for the initiative and promised to key into the vision of the Board

Recall that the Ekiti Football Association is on a tour of all Local Football Councils in the state to meet with Football Stakeholders, which includes, Referees, members of the Red Cross, sports coordinators for Primary and Secondary Schools, Coaches Association and local club owners.
