The Ekiti State Football Association U-15 Football team also known as “Ekiti Bees” will go into a close camp to step up preparations for the Western Nigeria Football Forum / Taiwo Ogunjobi Memorial U-15 Football Competition in Osun State.
30 boys started the open camp under the tutelage of Coach Femi Kumuyi on Monday, 1st of August, 2022 and will be pruned down to 23 players on Saturday, August 6, 2022.
The team will proceed to Ijero township stadium on Monday 8th August to intensify preparations ahead of the competition that will feature over 160 kids from across the country.
The one-week long WNFF/Taiwo Ogunjobi Memorial U-15 Football Tournament will feature eight U-15 teams – Ekiti FA team (Ekiti Bees), Ogun FA team, Ondo FA team, Osun FA team, Oyo FA team, Lagos FA team, NPFL/LaLiga U15 Future Champion Winners (Remo Stars FC) and 2nd Runner-up (Katsina United FC).
