Fans and teams alike can begin to relish an exciting climax to the 2022 edition of arguably the best state league in Nigeria, the Bet9ja Ekiti Football League.
This is as the league board rolled out the plans for the final laps of the very interesting tournament which began in February.
The line up begins with the postponement of all Week 9 league matches for a week to allow for the determination of outstanding matches. Thus, Week 9 matches will be held between Wednesday 20th and Friday 22nd July, 2022.
Lovers of the league can then gear up to witness a funfair like never before as the league culminates with the BEFL Super 4 which will be held between 24th and 27th August, 2022.
Just before this, a dozen representatives from the league are scheduled to embark on a working/operational visit to two of best privately funded football clubs in Nigeria and West Africa, FC Ebedei, Sagamu and Remo Stars FC, Ikenne
Scheduled for 2nd to 4th of August, 2022, the visits are expected to be a game changer for club management in Ekiti as it will give the selected young club owners and managers the opportunity to learn first hand, how a football club is managed, how top class football facility should look like and what mentality and acumen is required to be a successful grassroots football club owner.
